It is critical that Pro Power takes a proactive strategy in promoting its program in the community as well as creating a strong fund-raising program. To accomplish these goals, Pro Power will have two groups overseeing the program's growth and development. The first will be a Program Services Group comprising of community stakeholder members. This group will provide oversight of the program's service delivery to the community and will also be responsible for building community support for Pro Power. The second group will be a Finance Group that provides consultation in regards to the program's fiscal operation and fund-raising activities.

Pro Power Foundation makes a difference in the lives of student athletes. Pro Power will address what society is facing, a loosing battle to fight illiteracy and the over representation in special education and incarceration of minority males. Due to the hard work of our partners we are accomplishing ours goals this year without funding. We have a strong infrastructure. Plans for growth to our organization include providing several schools in Montgomery County with Pro Power Study Halls, Mentoring Programs, athletic trainers for all football games, endowments based on academic performance of the athletes.

Pro Power supports the community's desire to foster successful student athletes and programs that will have a positive impact on the attitude and health of the area's youth.

We have established ourselves in one high school and a track team serving over 200 student athletes in Montgomery County this year without funding. Given the proper funding, our growth is infinite.

Pro Power has the potential to have a real impact on the Washington Metro Areas' youth. The impact Pro Power has had this year without funding is profound. Some examples are the following: several students are going to play college football this year who would not have due to their grades, an at risk student is getting offers from division one schools who in the past was in an alternative and separate public day school, 32 of the piloted school's football players had over 3.0 G.P.A's during football season, we assisted the Gaithersburg Firebirds track team in writing a grant to launch a community education program, several of the piloted school's football players who were ineligible throughout the school year are eligible and repeating classes in summer school to assure a good GPA for NCAA clearing house, we assisted students with their Federal Financial Aid forms, a student wrote and designed our Pro Power injury prevention and health pamphlets, and most importantly parents and students are beginning to contact us for help.

The current demographics at the piloted school and the Gaithersburg Firebirds are reflective of several schools in the Washington Metro Area, with the majority of metro children ages of 5 to 21. This provides a unique opportunity to have a dynamic impact on the area's youth.
